Prince Charles Made a Surprise Visit to James Bond Set for a Very Unusual Reason

If you’ve ever wondered what being a British Royal entails, apart from a luxurious lifestyle, just know that their jobs are not easy. Apart from tiring tours, very limited life and never-ending royal engagements, the Royals must also adhere to a very strict code of conduct, one that expects them to flash a perfect smile everywhere they go.

But for Prince Charles, work is not that bad if you think about the perks that come along with it – one of them is meeting talented actors and somehow not being intimidated by them, but the same can’t be said of the star-struck thespians.

Prince Charles and Daniel Craig had a great bonding moment on the set of the upcoming James Bond film

Prince of Wales’ latest work engagement was perhaps one of his most enjoyable one that allowed the royal to kill two birds with one stone. Queen Elizabeth II’s son visited Pinewoods Studios of late, the location of the production of “Bond 25,” a movie under the James Bond franchise.

No, it wasn’t a coincidence that Prince Charles was there since he was actually paying a visit as a patron of British intelligence services and the British Film Institute.

The royal met the star of the picture, 007 Daniel Craig himself, who gave His Highness a mini-tour around the set. It must have been such a privilege for Craig to give Prince Charles exclusive sneak peeks into what goes on behind the scenes.

According to senior project manager with Aston Martin Ben Strong, Prince Charles became very intrigued by how they were able to create old cars from new ones.

Meeting Other Actors

Apart from Daniel, Prince Charles also talked with Naomie Harris, who portrays Moneypenny in the film and who joined His Royal Highness in listening to some scenes.

He also met Ralph Fiennes, who showed the set for his character’s office – he plays M, the chief of the British secret service.

The Prince of Wales showed just how much of a fan he was of the “Harry Potter” actor when he talked about his appearances in the J.K. Rowling adaptations where the artist played the main antagonist Voldemort.

Cameo?

Pictures would show how much Prince Charles was in a good mood that day as he went on to meet BFI apprentices and gamely take pictures with them. Sadly, one who missed the royal was Rami Malek, who will play the enemy in the picture. With his visit, could this mean the will make a cameo in the action film?
