Since landing the most lucrative deal in the car industry, many auto experts speculate Cristiano Ronaldo is the buyer behind the Bugatti Supercar.

The renowned Portuguese football player is a massive fan of supercars, and he spends most of his money on building his auto empire.

The experts, as well as his fans, are left wondering whether he ended up spending a staggering $19 million to buy the notorious Black Car. But did he really buy it? The answer is quite surprising actually.

According to reports, Cristiano Ronaldo allegedly emptied out his bank account (not really) to pay the astounding $19 million for this shiny Bugatti La Voiture Noire. The epic car was unveiled in March during a Motor Show in Geneva.

As of this writing, the Bugatti Supercar hails as the most expensive vehicle in the world.

The Bugatti supercar features an 8.0-liter W16 engine that is capable of running 260 miles/hour! While most car enthusiasts are excited to own the said vehicle, their hearts were crushed when the executive released sad news.

The Announcement

Bugatti’s executive, Stephan Winkelmann, explained that their recently debuted car has already been taken. It means a wealthy buyer has bought the vehicle for its astounding price tag. Although Winkelmann didn’t disclose the new owner’s identity.

Winkelmann promises to release more units of Bugatti Supercar and make it available to the public.

The executive was also pleased to say they sold Bugatti for an astounding 16.7 million Euros (or approximately USD 19 million). The auction happened privately with only Bugatti’s top clients in attendance and rumor has it that a very popular sports star also participated in the event. Since Ronaldo’s love for Bugatti is no secret, many fans were led to believe that he was the mysterious buyer of the controversial car.

The Clarification

Ronaldo’s spokesperson finally spoke up to clarify the issue. According to the football superstar’s representative, all these rumors are baseless and not true. Ronaldo hasn’t drained his pocket to buy the said auto-vehicle, no matter how tempting it may seem to him.

While Ronaldo claims he didn’t buy the Bugatti car, he expresses his interest to buy it in the future once it’s been released officially.

If Ronaldo’s not the official buyer, the experts move on to their list of wealthy moguls who are obsessed with collecting cars. Some stars who are included in their list is the boxing legend Floyd MayWeather.

The Anticipated Release

The Bugatti supercar that was showcased in the show wasn’t functional yet. According to Winkelmann, the production of the Bugatti car will take approximately two years. So those car enthusiasts can still save up some money to buy the super vehicle if they want to.

While Ronaldo doesn’t own this specific model of Bugatti, he already owns enough Bugatti supercars in his lavish collection. The renowned football superstar reportedly bought a Bugatti Chiron recently for an astounding $1.7 million.
