The nickname “Red Devils Association” by the Royal Belgian Football Association is not lost on Belgian soccer fans, because these fans are equally as fierce as they are beautiful. Combine these formidable supporters with a team that has the likes of Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku, and what you get is a well-oiled soccer machine that is capable of dismantling any team. 

Therefore, the team’s third-place finish at the 2018 World Cup wasn’t surprising at all, and neither was their first-place FIFA ranking. Looking at their second-place ranking in 2022, it is safe to say that Belgium’s national team would be a force to reckon with.
