Idris Elba and Ken Block to Show off Driving and Racing Skills in New Car Stunt Show

In a prestigious yet rare opportunity, two prominent public figures will join forces to share their love and passion for fast cars and the racing industry. One of them is the renowned car racer driver, Ken Block, who has wowed his fans time and time again with his impressive racing skills.
The second name is one that most of us are already familiar with: Idris Elba. Not that he needs any introduction, the actor has been dominating the entertainment industry with his superb acting skills. However, not a lot of people know that Elba has a crazy obsession for cars, quite like Ken.
Fortunately, their common hobbies had resulted in a new show that’ll grace the television screens soon. Let us uncover the exciting details of this new show and what we can expect from its exciting hosts.
A New Car Show
Last week, Block shocked his fans when he published a post on Instagram entitled “Elba vs. Block,” which showed the two talented superstars standing next to each other with their arms crossed.
In the photo’s caption, the renowned car racer said he couldn’t wait to work together with Elba on an exciting new project, a clear hint towards the upcoming television show.

Block and Elba reveal they’ve been shooting for a week for their show now
The new episodic series will feature the two hosts going one on one on different “vehicular challenges.” Their fans can certainly expect to watch an entertaining, yet an action-packed series that won’t just showcase Elba’s vast knowledge about cars, but also show the hosts’ humorous side.
Expectations
Both hosts will review all the brand new cars that hit the market and share their top picks for those who are looking for advice on which automobiles to choose. In his Instagram post, Block also answered some of the commonly asked questions from fans who were curious to know more details about the show.

Block and Elba said they could not wait for their fans to see what they have in store for them
Block revealed that the shooting for the show is already underway in the United Kingdom and his co-host Elba chimed in to drop the big date when fans can expect to see the show. Apparently, the series will premier on Qibli in April 2020, a good year from now.
For those who don’t know, Quibli is an online digital streaming service that offers “quick bites” of thrilling episodes and series to its British subscribers for only $4.99 per month! Those fans who want to watch their show continuously (with no ads) might have to pay more for it.
While the platform only gives a 7-10-minute maximum airing time for each episode they release, Block said watching their show will be worth your time and money!
The Collaboration
Meanwhile, Elba reveals their new show will only have a total of eight episodes, although there’s a possibility for it to be renewed for another season if it takes off in popularity.
The show will also feature some death-defying and hair-raising stunts like “Car Tightrope,” “The Wall of Death,” and “Flaming Obstacle Course”, which will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.

Elba is also excited to promote his movie “Hobbs and Shaw” which is slated to release next month
Elba also praised his co-worker and said that he had a great time working with him, though he admitted to feeling intimidated by the man’s driving skills at first.
However, his initial intimidation quickly wore off as he got to know more about Block and build a professional working relationship with him. The actor said he treasured the opportunity to drive alongside such an iconic car racer who knows the ins and outs of the automobile industry.
