These Golden Era Stars You’ve Forgotten Are Still Alive And Breaking!
Barry Manilow – 1943
Even at the current age of 78, Barry Manilow’s golden voice is still as magnificent as ever, and in terms of looks, he looks way younger than other people his age. This is why some believe that he enhanced his look with the help of cosmetic surgery.
For more than five decades, Manilow made waves in the music industry, and some of his most popular songs were Copacabana and Can’t Smile Without You. To show that he’s still very much active in the music industry, he even released a new studio album titled Night Songs II in 2020.
LORENZO LAMAS – 1958
The older generations would never forget the awe-inspiring performance that Lorenzo Lamas delivered on “Falcon Crest” throughout the ’80s. He is no longer as young and playful. Well, it seems appropriate considering he is now the father of six adult children.
Over the decades, Lamas has been very consistent on the screens, particularly on the small screen. Some of the most noteworthy works in his portfolio are Reno Raines in “Renegade,” Dr. Hollywood in “Big Time Rush,” and Hector Ramirez in “The Bold and the Beautiful.” A five-time divorcee, Lamas is currently engaged to Kenna Scott. We hope that relationship perseveres like his acting career.
Dick Van Dyke – 1925
Dick Van Dyke has had a remarkable life, from his stint in the military to his career as an award-winning actor, singer, dancer, and comedian, which spanned seven decades. He started as an entertainer on radio, television, and Broadway.
Van Dyke used to be addicted to alcohol and smoking, but he later overcame and stopped, which is probably why he’s doing so well, even at 95 years old. He still takes on the new acting role as it was reported that he starred in an upcoming movie called Capture the Flag.
Al Pacino – 1940
It’s no secret that Al Pacino has been an icon in the Hollywood scene for decades now. Although his first memorable performance was in The Panic in Needle Park, the role that launched him into stardom was in The Godfather films. After that, he consistently served us more superb performances, such as in Scent of a Woman and Serpico.
He is well known for working on Looking for Richard and Chinese Coffee. Pacino isn’t disappearing from our screens anytime soon, and so you will see him in the upcoming film called House of Gucci.
Max Baer Jr. – 1937
Though Max Baer Jr. went to Santa Clara University to study business, he found himself in show business, and he did pretty well. His acting career took off when he joined the cast of The Beverly Hillbillies, holding the most prominent role of his entire career.
He attempted to put up a casino when his acting career slowed down, but its development got suspended in 2012. Baer Jr. is the last member of the Beverly Hillbillies cast who is still alive today. He appeared in Jay Sebring…. Cutting to the Truth in 2020 and will appear in The Harlem Harlequin: Slapsie Maxie Rosenbloom which is currently filming.
