The Kardashian clan has not only proved itself to be extremely lucrative in the fashion and TV industry but also equally crafty and savvy in its business dealings.

Kim Kardashian enjoys a lavish lifestyle with her husband Kanye West and their children
True enough, the youngest Kardashian also currently hails as the youngest self-made billionaire in the world. Her recent riches enabled her to dole out stacks of cash on luxurious mansions and real estate properties, lavish cars, and everything she had ever wanted.
With their astounding net worths, we could be forgiven for assuming that the family would have anything and everything they could have ever wished for. What could they possibly wish for when they seemingly have everything already?
Contrary to popular belief, the oldest sister, Kim Kardashian reveals she had been dreaming of pursuing this profession ever since she was a youngster. Let’s delve deeper into how hard Kim Kardashian works to fulfill her goals and how her career took a 180-degree turn from being a businesswoman and famous model to becoming a lawyer’s apprentice.
The Beginning
Kim revealed she had been dreaming of following in her father Robert Kardashian’s footsteps. The Kardashian Sr. became a prominent defense attorney in the high-profile O.J. Simpson murder case in 1995 which first brought him into the limelight as a highly rated attorney.

Kim Kardashian initially got interested in law due to her father’s influence
After entering the entertainment industry in 2004 as Brandy Norwood’s stylist, Kim found her passion for law waning as her interest in fashion and entertainment piqued. She later went on to engage in several business dealings and brand endorsements which helped her get noticed by prominent figures in the industry.
The Trigger
It wasn’t until February 2007 when a scandal between her and her ex-lover, Ray J (Brandy Norwood’s brother) made headlines on the internet. According to sources, an entertainment company leaked a private video showing the couple being extremely intimate, which quickly made rounds over the internet.
Kim immediately filed a lawsuit against the company for defamation and releasing personal details without her permission or consent.
A few months after, Kim settled the case with a staggering $5 million in compensation paid to her by the entertainment company along with a percentage cut from the profits generated by the video through various revenue streams.
In a bizarre set of occurrences, Kim herself admitted that the scandal also paved a way towards her immense popularity in the following years.
The Decision
Fast-forward to 2018, Kim shocked the world when she announced via Instagram that she’s hard at work in preparation for the 2022 Bar Exam.

Kim says helping other people get the justice they deserve inspires her to pursue law, just like her father
The business mogul also revealed the inspiration behind the decision to pursue a law career being the release of Alice Marie from jail, an event that Kim played a pivotal part in when she met the president and brought the matter to his attention.
Like her father, she championed Johnson’s case and sought clemency from President Donald Trump for her client’s freedom.
The Potential
Kim said she became inspired and motivated to pursue her dream of becoming a lawyer after Robert Shapiro himself said he believed she had tremendous potential to become a successful attorney.
Shapiro worked with Kardashian’s father in the O.J. Simpson ‘s case before and now Kim works as his apprentice, with the option of joining his firm full time once she had passed her law exam.
