Usain Bolt To Launch His Own Electric Car, But Will It Be Faster Than Him?
The famous former Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt has already earned the title of the fastest man alive, now he’s set to conquer the electric vehicle industry. According to sources, the Olympian is currently backing a new electric vehicle company named Bolt based in Florida.

Usain Bolt has snagged a staggering nine gold medals from playing in the Olympic Games.
Since founding it a year ago, the renowned athlete has been making some noise in the corporate world with his own car and electric scooter lines Bolt Chariot, and Bolt One series.
Just recently, Usain Bolt shocked the world after he unveiled his own electric car at the VivaTech show in Paris, France. Let us reveal this new vehicle’s features and why you should add it to your collection!
The Electric Car
According to sources, Bolt’s electric car is named Nano. It features a two-seater set up that can accommodate at least one occupant in the front and back. Bolt also ensures the drivers and passengers can sit comfortably inside the vehicle.
What makes his car unique is its compact shape compared to most electric automobiles you see in the market, making it extremely efficient on the road.

Bolt claims you can fit in four Nano cars in a regular parking space thanks to its small size
While Bolt’s scooters can travel up to two miles, the Nano car can go up to 15 miles. The renowned Olympic sprinter also said his vehicle features swappable batteries to ensure you won’t run out of energy while driving. Bolt adds that Nano became the first micro electric-car to feature these swappable batteries.
The Ride-Sharing Programs
Bolt also says Nano will not only be available for private use, but it can also utilize for ride-sharing programs. The renowned athlete plans to build charging stations throughout Florida (and eventually, across the country) so that the Nano drivers can dock and park their cars.

Bolt believes his vehicle inventions will revolutionize transportation and help alleviate the worsening traffic and space problems
Designated staff will also be stationed to replace the batteries and make it available to the next user. Bolt is proud to say he and his company’s team did extensive research in urban areas to design their vehicles with user’s convenience in their mind.
The Benefits
Not only their scooters and cars’ design and features can eliminate parking space problems, but it also helps in easing traffic congestion. For those car drivers who are interested in buying Nano, the base price starts at $9,999. Nano’s first units are set to be released in 2020. Bolt says you can only place a refundable $999 deposit to place your reservations as early as now.
The Career Shift
When asked what drove Bolt to start venturing in the business world, the renowned athlete said it wasn’t his plan to become an entrepreneur. After retiring from Olympic games in 2017, he initially wanted to become a football player.
However, he thought he should move on from sports and do something worthwhile for the public. That’s when he thought of venturing business and launching his electric vehicle series.
