Kevin Hunter is apparently making up for his marital woes by upgraded Wendy Williams’ watch with a 25-carat diamonds. This extremely lavish gift comes at the heels of reports that the couple is going through a rough patch in their relationship after Hunter was accused of cheating on Wendy with longtime mistress, Sharina Hudson.

The Gift

According to a spokesperson from Flawless Jewelry, Kevin Hunter brought Wendy Williams’ stunning Franck Muller watch to their store to have it upgraded. Hunter obviously had a lot of making up to do as he splurged to have his lady love’s watch encrusted with an astounding 25-carat worth of diamonds. The spokesman revealed the watch’s value is now over $40,000! The sources claim Hunter gave the present in hopes of fixing his rocky marriage with the television talk show host.

The couple has hardly been spending any time together due to their hectic schedules, especially since Williams injured her shoulder. As a result, the TV host took a three-month hiatus to focus on her health and crumbling marriage. The renowned host’s fractured shoulder resulted from her Graves’s disease, an immune system disorder that is often caused by the overproduction of thyroxin in the thyroid gland.

The Comeback

After she returned to her show, Williams announced to her fans that her shoulder was completely healed, and she’s now in better health overall. While the host admitted she missed chatting with her audience, she was happy to take a few weeks off to spend more time with her husband and their son, Kevin Jr., while recovering. She also shut down disturbing rumors and speculations over her marriage. According to Williams, her relationship had never been stronger and that nothing could break the two apart.

Hunter has been and always will be her lover and best friend. To further prove her statement, Williams held up her hand to show the audience that she’s still wearing her wedding ring. Having been in a relationship for 28 years, Williams says her bond with Kevin cannot be severed easily. The renowned TV host claims they’ve been through a lot and they’re committed to sticking to their relationship for a lifetime.

The Battle

Last March, Williams said their family’s charity, known as Hunter’s Foundation entered a partnership with T.R.U.S.T to launch a national resource hotline to help not only people like her who battle Graves’ disease but also those who are struggling with substance abuse. Williams has been very open about her drug addiction over the past and is now seeking professional help for it.

With Williams gearing up for her return to the popular show, The Wendy Williams’ Show, as well as resume other career engagements, Hunter is assuring their fans and supporters that they’re both doing fine and their family is stronger than ever. Currently, they’re all focusing on Wendy’s health and making sure that she gets the necessary help to overcome her medical and addiction issues. He also says that marriage is hard work and they will overcome this challenge together, just like they have in the past.

Aside from that, they’ll continue advocating for treatment facilities that help substance abuse victims to recover and start a new life again. Ever since they established their foundation, they have sent more than 200 people to treatment facilities for recovery.
