Mac Miller Was Worth Millions When He Passed Away, But Who Inherited His Wealth?
The death of the famous singer, producer, and rapper Mac Miller in September last year sent shockwaves across the world. His untimely demise was undoubtedly a massive loss for the music industry and those who were close to him. Despite his unfortunate death, his estate managers are doing everything they can to retrieve his fortune, which was worth millions and funnel it into his favorite non-profit organization. Here’s how much wealth Mac Miller left behind and how he built his music empire.
The Fortune
A few months after the renowned rapper’s untimely death, Miller’s real estate managers and lawyers are working hard to liquidate the singer’s assets and funds to donate it to his respective charities. According to sources, Miller left behind a fortune worth $9 million. His managers say that a part of it will likely go to The Mac Miller Circles Fund.

Miller accumulated his wealth not only from his album sales but also from his various business ventures and endorsements
Miller founded the said charity to provides resources, programming, and opportunities to young people from the marginalized and underserved communities living in Pittsburgh, California. Miller accumulated his vast net worth from a myriad of projects, endorsement deals, album sales, real-estate properties, as well as shrewd investments in companies like Facebook.
The Documents
New legal documents have also resurfaced stating that almost 50% of Miller’s wealth came from his real estate assets, which amounted to $4.48 million. The remaining $4 million came from a combination of savings, checkings, and money market accounts. Aside from that, Miller’s 200 shares in Facebook are worth over $32,000.

Miller released his last album entitled Swimming before his unexpected death.
However, sources claim that his net worth doesn’t include assets like his vast collection of luxurious cars, arts, and other valuable items. Meanwhile, another document that recently emerged states that Miller didn’t own any real estate properties in Pittsburgh at the time of his death. However, it’s still possible that the famous rapper has other properties elsewhere, contributing to his net worth of $10 million.
The Untimely Death
Before Miller’s unexpected departure, he debuted his fifth and final album entitled Swimming which earned him a Grammy nomination after it sold over 66,000 records worldwide. However, Cardi B hailed victorious as she snagged the Grammy award for her Invasion of Privacy. Despite her win, Cardi B dedicated her award to Miller and even took to Instagram after her victory to recognize Miller’s passion for rap music, something that he had in common with the Bodack Yellow hitmaker.

Mac Miller died in his home in San Fernando Valley last September 2018 due to an accidental overdose.
Cardi B shared her Grammy win with him because it’s their victory for making powerful music to influence their fans and to create a bigger impact on the industry. That’s why she was saddened when she learned about his untimely passing, as he succumbed to eternal rest after failing to get proper support from his family and loved ones.
